Taylor Pantiga

Taylor Pantiga is a graduate student at San Francisco State University’s (SFSU) Estuary and Ocean Science Center. At SFSU, Taylor studies seagrass wasting disease in eelgrass beds in north-central California. Taylor is joining OST for the fall of 2021 as an intern through SFSU’s RIPTIDES program. During her time with OST, she will be supporting several projects including the OPC Science Advisory Team.

Prior to her graduate studies at SFSU, Taylor worked with several state and federal agencies to conserve endangered plants, birds, and salmonids along California’s coast.

Taylor is currently pursuing her M.S. in Interdisciplinary Marine and Estuarine Sciences at SFSU. She holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
