Emma Stone specializes in the day-to-day bookkeeping, website management, and staff support at OST. With a strong belief in equitable access to information and resources, they approach supporting OST’s operations with an eye to accessibility and reliability. In 2020 they spearheaded the design and development of the new Stories section of the OST website, giving staff a place for longer public updates on the goings-on behind the scenes of OST. The 2020-2022 Annual Reports give them an opportunity to lead the design of a major OST organizational publication, and they are actively working towards a long-term goal of making the full OST website ADA compliant.
Prior to joining the OST team in 2018, Emma was a freelance website and e-commerce developer. They also served as office administrator for a small manufacturing company for two years. Emma received their B.Sc. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Merced.
