We work within a system of science, government and community organizations and institutions. Our success is the strength of our partnerships and collaborations. We encourage and value a diversity of perspectives.
Working at Ocean Science Trust is a boundary experience–a unique opportunity in the emerging field of linking science and policy throughout California and beyond.
We are currently hiring for two roles! If you’re interested in joining our team as either Science Director or Science Officer, please click the job title to start your application. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Fellows work in close-knit teams with other scientists, communicators, and technology professionals on specific projects that advance our mission.
Partnership is core to our approach. We focus on topics that meet California’s need for science, while incorporating diverse perspectives and interests.
By policy and customary practice, indirect costs are not included within our subcontract budgets, except where such costs are mandatory (as in the case of academic institutions). In such instances, indirect costs shall not exceed 25%, and are often lower, as determined by the limitations and expectations of our own funders.
We’re constantly exploring new ideas and opportunities, learning from a diverse constituency that extends throughout California and beyond. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
